Before the incident
[REDACTED] 's schedule is [REDACTED]-[REDACTED] and on the weekend of [REDACTED] he complained to his manager that his right knee was hurting but not sure what from and that it was getting worse. He texted his manager on [REDACTED] that he wouldn 't be in because he was going to the hospital to have it checked.
What happened
[REDACTED] 's text to his Manager [REDACTED] stated: Not sure when it actually occured. I 'm on and off ladders all the time. It could have been anything just walking with the carts and turning corners with them just puts stress on the knee. This has gotten worse over time so I 'm just not sure of the pin point the think that started it or made it to where it is now.
Injury or illness
Dr. [REDACTED] came in exam room and reviewed status with client. D’[REDACTED] explained he thinks this is from his hip which is why he isn’t getting better Dr. [REDACTED] explained the hip is not work related and a leg length discrepancy would not be from work unless there was a significant trauma. He also explained how there is not specific mechanism of injury. Dr. [REDACTED] explained that inflammatory conditions can take a while to recover (possibly few months) and he just hasn’t got over the hump yet. D '[REDACTED] has been given restricted duty to come back to work since mid November but he claims it hurts too bad to sit. We have tried to accomdate him with a comfortable chair something to prop his leg on but he says he can 't. The doctor is putting him on Physical Therapy.
