What happened
RN was emptying pt 's urine collection container and while pouring the urine into the toilet the bloody urine splashed back toward the RN. A drop of bloody urine went into the nurse 's left eye. The nurse went into the employee restroom and 'flushed eye out for 5 min with normal saline.
