What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately 1500L [REDACTED] was assigned to [REDACTED] 1 maintenance on a [REDACTED] aircraft in a Depot Maintenance setting. [REDACTED] was tasked to reinstall a Wiggins Coupling on a dump line inside [REDACTED] 1. [REDACTED] proceeded to maneuver himself inside of [REDACTED] 1 with a [REDACTED] Attendant present. After working about 5 minutes in the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] discovered he was stuck and unable to get himself out. He immediately informed his [REDACTED] Attendant his situation. His [REDACTED] Attendant kept him calm and coached him on his exit strategy and realized they were going to need help getting [REDACTED] out. His [REDACTED] Attendant got the Supervisor Work Leader and another Contractor employee to assist in pulling [REDACTED] from the [REDACTED]. They were able to successfully get [REDACTED] out of the tank in roughly 8 minutes. [REDACTED] 's total time in the tank was approximately 30 minutes.
