What happened
Employee was exiting from under aircraft when he lost his balance and fell forward. He stopped himself from falling but jammed his left foot 2nd and 3rd toes against steel toe shoes in the process. Employee notified me at the end of shift he was ok and just needed to soak his foot. On [REDACTED] employee used PTO to further rest his foot. On [REDACTED] employee was still feeling discomfort and visited Lake Joy Med Stop. His foot was evaluated and X-Rayed. No sign of fracture. Employee was given medication and instructed to ice his foot. He was given a doc note excusing him from work on [REDACTED] and verbally cleared from the doctor to return to work on [REDACTED]. Technician utilized required PPE including Safety googles hearing protection and steel toe boots.
