What happened
The employee 's written description is as follows. Patient low bp sedation weaned woke up agitated and restless not redirectable kicked several nurses and care partners [REDACTED] NP bedside. Per ED note: Patient was working as a nurse in the ICU here when she was kicked in the head by patient. She was hit on the right side of her head and immediately after impact felt lightheaded and was dazed seeing stars. This lasted about 10 seconds and she had to sit down because she was almost going to pass out. Felt nauseated afterwards and this resolved quickly as well. Struck on right side of head by agitated patient contusion per ED note - has concussion
