What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Process Automation Technician from the Maintenance Department was operating a milling machine during regular operations. While performing this task the technician placed his right hand on the knob used to select the machine’s axles. At that moment he became distracted while observing the piece being machined. The operating platform advanced toward him pinching his right index finger between the knob and the platform. This resulted in lacerations on both the top and bottom of the finger.
