Before the incident
I was standing with my patient doing chest press exercises with a 4-pound dowel. They were done with their exercises. I took the dowel from them and put it on my rolling desk. And I am standing there talking to them when the dowel slowly rolled off the desk. The desk was about the height of my belly button. And it rolled off and landed on the top of my left foot across the toe box .
