Before the incident
Employee was mixing grout with a mixing gun and attachment and was in the process of transferring the mixer from one bucket to the ground.
What happened
While transferring the rotating mixer from a grout bucket to the ground the employee inadvertently grasped the attachment near the choke while the mixer was still spinning. The rotating rod caught his glove and twisted his left hand and thumb. The mechanism of injury caused ligament and bone damage to the left hand.
