On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] employee reported that their right ankle rolled heard felt a pop and was in pain at WC666 Wire Shaver). Reported the injury immediately to the supervisor The wire being processed was a brittle grade and pulled from the dog on the first wrap on the take up drum. The employee had to stop and resolve the wire form being pulled out of the dog. The employee had both feet on level concrete floor and was standing facing the take up reel. The floor under the employees feet was not slick from oil no coolant was present nor any tripping hazards where they were standing at the time of the injury. The employee was beginning to take a step pivot to the right to walk towards the ramp and they heard felt a pop in the right ankle as it rolled to the outside. The employee stated that they were not stepping down from the 7” work platform deck.
