What happened
He was holding a part at the grinder his hand slipped and his right index finger hit the grinding wheel at the knuckle. He has a abrasion and looks like his bone is showing. He is at the ER. After ER Summary:ER treated it as first aid the abrasion was to the tendon not the bone no damage to the tendon visible. He did receive a referral to a hand surgeon if he loses movement in that finger. He received Bacitracin and Xeroform gauze dressings to keep it clean he also received a tetanus shot. He is back to work with a note to modify activities to keep it clean for 1 week.
