Our Cotton Candy machine has had issues with not turning on. [REDACTED] was tasked with cleaning it. After cleaning it he tried to turn it on again assuming the issue was with the cleanliness of the machine. The machine still did not turn on. He then put his left hand in the machine to check and see if it had any voltage. When he pulled his hand out he sliced the top of his pointer finger open on the burner top. He then grabbed his finger before any blood got in the machine. He then came up to the front desk and informed our supervisor [REDACTED] of the incident. She helped his clean his wound and put a bandage on it. He asked to go home early to which we gave the ok to.
