Before the incident

At [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was working an opening track shift. Between rides the team members at the track had noticed that too many karts were in one lane. [REDACTED] was plugging in the correct karts while a coworker was attempting to move the extra kart out of the lane. The coworker went to move the kart backwards while the kart was still set to go forward. [REDACTED] was in-between the two karts plugging one in when the back of her ankle got hit. [REDACTED] walked over to the maintenance bay to sit down and ice her ankle. She stated she did not think she would go seek medical attention and was told to call before she went anywhere if need be. [REDACTED] [REDACTED] called stating it was not getting any better. [REDACTED] went to Concentra and was diagnosed with a left ankle sprain. Team member must use crutches should be sitting and wearing a brace at work- with a follow-up appointment at Concentra on [REDACTED].
