Before the incident
The operator came to my office on [REDACTED] stating that they had a wire poke in their right thumb yesterday ([REDACTED]) from some 012gauge wire They didnt report it until the next day They mentioned that last night they took it upon themselves to soak the area with Epsom salt at home When they came into work today they were wondering if there was still wire in their right thumb I could not tell so we went to talk to the VSM who also could not see anything We advised them to keep an eye on it until the next day when the EHS Manager will examine it to ensure theres no wire or infection During the incident they were wearing a pair of latex gloves underneath her normal working gloves They declined Axiom and had the afterhours paperwork
