I drew blood from patient. Wanted to dispose the needle after the blood draw but was stock withthe needle. I was able to squeeze out as much blood I can from my 4th right finger. Cleaned site with alcohol swab washed off with water and taped. Charge nurse and supervisor were notified. Employee variance paperwork were filled and supervisor [REDACTED] faxed it over to employee health.
