What happened
At approximately [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] I [REDACTED] Manager received a radio call from Engineer to respond to the engineering shop. Upon my arrival EE was at a sink running water on his hand and asked if I had a first aid kit to which I replied I did. EE stated he might need it. I approached and asked why what happened. EE explained he cut his right thumb with a bare straightened razor that had no guard or handle protection as he tried to cut the sight glass motion sensor off of a toilet button piece he was repairing. He claimed at the time he could not find the knife he had on his person and decided to grab a razor from the engineering closet.?I returned to the security office to retrieve my medical bag then soon returned to the shop. Once I was prepared to bandage EE 's cut I had EE removed his hand from the running water and take a seat in a chair.
