A UNFI driver was unloading at a customer location [REDACTED] when a metal bar fell from the exterior loading ramp and struck the driver on the top of the head. The driver sustained minor bleeding and is experiencing pain at the point of impact. The driver sought outside medical treatment at a nearby hospital for medical evaluation however they were not transported via EMS. Sedano’s has committed to investigating the incident and will take corrective action to repair the metal bar. We will continue to follow up with the customer to ensure corrective action is taken
