On [REDACTED] an Inventory Control Associate was working in the damages area and attempted to lift a case of yogurt that was positioned on top of two stacked pallets. To do so the associate placed one foot on the pallet and the other on the ground while lifting the case. As a result the associate experienced lower back pain. The incident was not reported to leadership until [REDACTED]. The associate has elected to use PTO to take time off from work and will be seeking onsite treatment through the Fit For Work representative. Associate elected to seek outside medical treatment with the company doctor on [REDACTED].
