He bent over to pick up a full milk crate off of a pallet. As he was lifting it he felt a cracking sensation in his lower back and a sharp pain in his lower back. He lowered the milk crate back onto the pallet waited approximately 5 minutes then proceeded to continue with his work. At the time of the incident or for the rest of his shift he did not report the issue to his manager.
