Employee was walking from the sales floor to the backroom cheese cooler while assisting a customer.

What happened

Employee States: Employee states that he was walking in the back from the sales floor to the cheese shop cooler. He was going around the corner near the produce cooler and the pallet stacks. He stepped on something and his foot slipped. He fell backwards. His left elbow struck the ground first then his upper back. While he was on the ground he looked to see what had slipped on. He believes he slipped on a piece of cardboard from a box of gloves specifically the cut out part of the opening. After he struck the ground a wine shop employee came from around the corner asked if he was okay and helped him up. Then the produce co manager came over and to see if the employee was okay. The employee was trying to assist a customer before the fall and wanted to finish. The produce co manager walked with the employee to help the customer then walked him to the front end to report the incident. The employee feels some minor pain in the elbow and upper back.
