Placing spacers on cages

While standing 36 double cage onto ring to mount clips the cage slipped from the employees hand. The employee attempted to grab the cage as it was falling out of reflex. When they employee attempted to grab the cage their thumb was caught between 2 wire cages and pulled on their thumb. The employee attempted to continue work but stopped and reported the incident as it began to hurt.
