What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] an associate working in the Trim Room sustained an injury to their right thumb. The initial interpretation of the event suggested that the injury occurred while lowering an acrylic tub onto a workstation. However after conducting a re-enactment with the Trim Lead the assisting team member and the injured associate it was determined that the mechanism of injury was not consistent with tub handling. During the re-enactment the injured associate stated that they do not remember exactly how the injury happened but they believe it most likely occurred while lowering a wooden jig frame used during trimming tasks. This jig is used to support tubs that have curvature and do not sit flat on tables.
