Before the incident
Moving 50lb standard mass block (stored in a bag made it difficult to grip) from one work bench to another. During which the block caught the edge of the work bench top and had an obstructed movement making it difficult to grip. This caused it to drop and the employee tried to catch it.
What happened
The block was not lifted high enough to clear the 2nd bench. When the block was dropped it was reactionary impulse to catch it before falling. This caused a jerk to the right shoulder.
