What happened
The temporary associate sustained a cut to his thumb while assisting the maintenance team in lifting a motor from the metal detector conveyor to remove the belt. Maintenance personnel requested help lifting one side of the motor and when the associate assisted the roller slipped and caused a significant cut to his thumb. First aid was administered at the scene and the temporary services representative transported the associate to receive medical attention.
