[REDACTED] (employee #17127) was working on an engine underneath the fan thrust reverser cowlings. He stood up to go retrieve a tool and bumped his head on a metal corner of the thrust reverser. [REDACTED] received a cut to the top of his head which resulted in bleeding. [REDACTED] applied pressure to the cut and the bleeding ceased on its own. After speaking with the nurse 's hotline the decision was made to take [REDACTED] to a hospital to be seen by a doctor.
