What happened
Patient received 2 insulin injections and a lovenox shot. Safety caps in place and I had gloves on went over to put them in the Sharpes box. Container was not in the room d t patient history of IV drug use. My hand hit the corner and somehow one of the needles punctures my skin through the safety devise side. Went to ER charge nurse house sup manager employee health all informed.
