Injured worker was delivery packages to a customer 's porch per his usual work routine. He was in the customer 's gated yard petting a small dog that had ran out unaware of the 2nd dog.

What happened

Delivery associate was on customer 's porch delivering packages. 1 dog ran out of the doggy door while associate was still on the property the small dog was friendly and DA was in the yard petting the small dog. [REDACTED] later a larger dog also ran out the dog door and did attempt to bite employee 's right thigh ripping his pants and leaving a small minor wound. Injured worker stated he has delivered to that location previously and never had any encounters with the dog he did only sustain 1 minor wound from the dog and was able to safely get back to the van and continue his shift.
