Before the incident
Employee finished unloading a trailer and was preparing to start unloading the next trailer.
What happened
Employee did not inform management that he could not put down the dock plate and went onto the next trailer to unload onto the destuffit machine. Once he put a case on the line he went to step back onto the trailer and stepped in the gap where the dock plate should 've been which scraped his knee and eventually caused swelling.
