Before the incident
The employee was finishing a batch in our process room 1. After unloading 55 gallon drums into the a tank the employee had to get down from the platform because of restricted access and limited space the pallet holding the drums was blocking a part of the stairs.
What happened
When the employee was trying to get down the platform with limited space he slipped on the steps. This caused the employee to fall on his back. The platform to the ground was a distance of two feet and two inches. The worker developed a bruise on his left lower back and some scratches on his left forearm.
