Trying to redirect resident after a visit from family.
What happened
Resident was upset after family visit. RN tried to keep the resident safe while she was swinging at staff. When redirecting the resident bit the RN on the left wrist. When the RN was pushing the resident back to her room in the wheelchair the resident turned around and bit the RN below the first bite and then sunk her fingernails into her arm.
