EE stated I got up from my run station (desk) chair in the hangar to walk over to my assigned aircraft to get status update on the maintenance when I heard felt a small pop in my left knee. Shortly after pain started with soreness stiffness swelling (feeling of swelling) and increased through the rest of the night. By [REDACTED] pain subsided enough to pinpoint area to inboard side of knee joint ligament. Pain and stiffness persist each day.
