Employee stepped sideways in between two rows of seating attempting to place her foot on the floor but there was a loose wooden ledge on the floor causing the employee to trip.

Employee stepped sideways in between two rows of seating attempting to place her foot on the floor but there was a loose wooden ledge on the floor causing the employee to stumble then tripped and bang into a chair.
Injury or illness
Left thigh from banging into the chair had a raised area of skin and immediately felt sore and hot. Deep bruising has become very visible for the last two days.
Object or substance involved
Loose ledge on the floor caused the tripping which propelled her into the chair (which is what caused the muscle contusion).
