Employee was palletizing and twisting a case (2 foam sleeves in a case) to seal the bag Initially employee had a conversation with an operator before palletizing such as bagging the trays from the Rennco While the employee was grasping on the product with the left wrist (product weighing less than 10 lbs) and the bottom of the product was resting on the foot The employee was about to twist (rotate the bag) with the right hand felt a pop on the left wrist Before the employee was directed to go to break the employee wanted to finish the task in hand was then experiencing pain on the left wrist Pain was throbbing NTL was notified and Tirage nurse (Accurate Hotline) was contacted The tirage nurse made recommendations for the employee to visit Concentra for further medical evaluation Diagnosis left wrist sprain Work restrictions and physical therapy was prescribed
