What happened

Patient was on the toilet getting ready to stand up to pull up the brief and her pants. [REDACTED] the RN was behind the patient to make sure she was clean and to pull the brief and pants up I was standing in front of the patient to hold her up. The patient is a times 2 max assist with right sided weakness and got the patient standing up co-worker had let go of the gait belt. I was the only one holding the pt up I began to feel the patients legs try to buckle as well as her leaning heavily forward and to the right. That 's when co-worker finally got her brief and pants back up and attempted to assist me to get the patient back into the wheelchair. Patients legs started to buckle during this transfer to the wheelchair and I have to quickly shift her hips to the right so that way the patient would not have fallen in the floor resulting in my left hand and wrist to become injured.
