bending over to turn on a SCD machine
What happened
I bent over and pushed the button on the SCD machine to turn it on. While I was bending down I heard a pop in my lower back with instant pain shooting up my back. Upon standing I could not put pressure on my left leg. I walked out to the nurse 's station and I sat in a chair. The pain was so bad they helped me into a wheelchair and took me to ED for an evaluation.
