Before the incident
The employee was operating an overhead crane. During operation said employee lowered the crane hook so that he may be able to remove the chains that were holding the steel coil in place.
What happened
While lowering the crane’s hook the employee was not at a safe distance which caused the employee to be in the danger zone. When the crane’s hook was about to hit him he moved his arm out of the way abruptly and scraped his elbow with the sharp edge of the coil.
