In [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] a Deflash operator was closing the door on the cryogenic machine and noticed that it would not close all the way Instead of stopping work he used his right hand to push the basket up to free the door while bracing with his left hand on the door frame The door closed on his left hand resulting in his hand being caught between the door and the face of the machine This resulted in a tear through the glove to the palm of the left hand
