TM was preparing a pt medication protonix with syringe 18g needle. TM was wearing gloves accidentally stabbed left pointer finger with 18g needle. The 18g needle had not been exposed to the medication protonix or patient. TM left pointer finger was bleeding through gloves performed first aid. Rinsed cleaned finger.
