What happened
Between [REDACTED] and acid pipe came apart. [REDACTED] noticed a cloud coming from the Waste treatment area. Upon investigating he noticed a pipe leaking that was identified to be the Sulfuric Acid line. [REDACTED] immediately went to get the CPO operator and Shift supervisor. The acid pump was shut off to stop the flow of acid and the fire alarm was pulled to evacuate the building. Emergency services were called including Hazmat team. Hazmat team was able to neutralize the acid using Lime that was in the area for the system.
