Inspecting pallets

• Just after [REDACTED] the Line driver was staging pallets to be put away. While he was setting the pallets down a QC inspector entered the area to look at a pallet on the conveyor that needed inspected for HFI. • After setting those pallets down he was backing up to get more pallets off the conveyor. The driver did not look behind him when he started to back into the area. • Without looking behind him he had no idea the QC tech had walked into the area. This caused him to strike the QC tech with the back left corner of the Forklift. When this happened the wheel of the forklift rolled over the outside of the QC techs foot. • The impact from the collision also knocked over the employee and caused her to hit her head on the ground. She stated that her head felt fine but just letting us know she had hit it on the ground. • The employees’ foot below the ankle started to swell quickly.
