Before the incident
IE had just began work at machine was at daily safety meeting prior and began cleaning clogged machine left from 3rd shift.
What happened
IE was attempting to use a hand held hook ment to guide shavings from the turret when shavings were jammed and required a different tool (metal snips). While attempting to pull intwined shavings from the machine with the hand held hook a sprain injury to the right wrist occured.
