What happened
Was assisting the TPM Facilitator (second day assisting) perform a routine Destat Filter change out. EE as wearing latex gloves to keep grease off hands. While pulling the filters out the EE pulled down and toward himself to the right-hand side on the filter (filter was not coming out easily). EE struck exposed sheet metal access door on adjacent wall cutting the top of right pinky finger which required stitches.
