EE reported that EE was cleaning his assigned equipment as usual EE uses a water hose to spray the machine during this process the machine is running to clean the moving conveyor with water EE decided to place his hand on the conveyor shutter frame not realizing that this moving part would crush his right ring finger causing a laceration that would require medical beyond first and 8 stitches and 2 days off.
