EE was removing dumplings that fell out of the 6 pack trays
What happened
EE reported that she was removing dumplings that fall off the small conveyor feeding dumplings into 6 pack trays. EE states that she used her hand to remove the fallen dumplings she had a tool available to remove them off the trays. Unfortunately the EE could not reach across the table so the employee decided to stick her hand under the conveyor the conveyor shutter hit her thumb causing a laceration. EE was taken to the ER where EE was given 4 stitches to her right thumb. EE will be sent to a MPN clinic on [REDACTED] to asses injury and provide restrictions for the employee.
