Injury or illness

While working in the sortation area on Sortation Lane 2 at approximately 1:15pm on 01 16 2025 the associate was palletizing as usual. During the process he lifted a box and placed it onto a pallet. Upon doing so he felt tightness in his left shoulder. Initially the associate did not think much of it and performed some brief stretches before resuming work to prevent the line from backing up. He mentioned that he did not report the discomfort immediately as he assumed it was not serioussimilar to occasional tightness he experiences in his right shoulder. However upon returning home around 6:15 PM he took a hot shower and after the shower his left arm began to feel increasingly painful. He applied Bengay (icy hot cream) but the pain worsened and he was unable to sleep due to discomfort especially when lying on his left side.
