Before the incident
Adjusting air bags in back of trailer.
What happened
The associate was unloading a trailer door 171. They had to stop to remove the airbags. The associate stopped the [REDACTED] lift inside the trailer approx. 3 to 4 feet from the pallets. The associate placed the lift in reverse set the parking brake. They walked to the row of pallets and began to deflate the top airbag. The lift then rolled forward the driver 's side forks made contact with the associates left foot on the outside toward the heel of their foot.
Injury or illness
Associate left foot was pinned between the blades of a forklift and a pallet. This resulted in abrasions and bruising to the foot.
