Employee stacked 4 pallets to bring them to the staging lane.

As the associate lifted 4 pallets with a sit down counterbalance fork lift the mast chain broke. Part of the broken chain swung and impacted his right leg in the shin area.

As the operator lifted 4 pallets of a Pine Sol product the chain snapped and made contact with the operator 's right leg. At the time of injury only a [REDACTED] scuff was visible. The associate stated that after going home the pain in the leg began to worsen and they then went to the emergency room to get an X-Ray. The X-ray showed no broken bones and the Dr. recommended the associate to rest ice compress and elevate their leg.
