What happened
While performing a changeover task on the flat buffer wind-up an associate sustained an injury when his ring finger became caught and pinched between the buffer conveyors tread guide and the hand tool he was using to adjust the guides. The incident resulted in a laceration to the left ring finger. The associate was immediately sent to the Emergency Room for medical evaluation. Following an X-ray it was determined that the tip of the finger was fractured. He received four stitches to close the wound.
