He was speed walking to the house to make the delivery when he had approached steps to the house he attempted to speed walk up the stairs when the top one had caught the front of his shoe and he fell Attempting to catch his fall he was unable to and had fell down Attempting to cover his face he put his hands out and his knees landed first on the concrete which caused his left leg to take the brunt and most damage The scratches are superficial but enough to cause swelling and bleeding Both legs had sustained scratches and blood with the left leg being far more severe His finger as well on the right hand pointer finger between the top knuckle and nail had also been cut
