On [REDACTED] [REDACTED] advised that he had injured his back while exiting his van at [REDACTED]([REDACTED]). [REDACTED] stated that he was stepping backward out of his van and missed the sidestep. [REDACTED] did not fall to the ground but in trying to get his balance he twisted his back. [REDACTED] attempted to continue on his route but as the day progressed he stated that the pain continued to get worse. [REDACTED] was sent some assistance so that he could return to the offsite. [REDACTED] was recommended to go to Medexpress to which he obliged. He went to Med Express but was advised that due to the time of day they would have to make him an appointment for the following day([REDACTED]). [REDACTED] returned to the off-site parking lot after to call LMET. [REDACTED] has been advised to keep dispatch updated on his status after he goes to Medexpress.
