Before the incident
Cleaning die cut product pulling scrap trim; window frame; off of finished die cut product. 10mm product that had a thin window frame scrap all the way around the die cut product.
What happened
As he was pulling the scrap free from the part there was a section of the scrap frame that was not cleanly cut through and was stuck attached to the finished part. He attempted to break the scrap free by pulling towards himself. When the scrap broke free he had ahold of it with his right hand resulting in his hand jerking towards his face hitting him in the nose.

He struck himself in the nose. He went to the doctor on 5 30 and diagnosed with a concussion.
